I contacted Mr. Knowlton in a state of absolute panic after my husband (we were separated) refused to return my 18-month-old after a visit. We first spoke on a Monday afternoon; he answered all of my questions and explained the process so I knew what to expect. He understood my fears and sense of urgency with the situation; he even filed the paperwork that same day, and we were in court within a week. A few months later, when my ex violated the custody agreement, I called Mr. Knowlton, and he again was able to file with the court that very same day. He walked me through what I needed to do, what not to do, and helped calm me down and reassure me that it will be OK. Like before, everything happened quickly, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome for my situation. Divorce is difficult, especially when children are involved, but Mr. Knowlton made it a little bit easier. I believe he genuinely cares about his clients and the outcome of their case. Very reasonable prices, honest and straightforward about what to expect, and he gets quick results. I'm very impressed and would highly recommend him for anyone going through divorce or child custody issues.
