Dr. Howard is best known as the founder of Deep Eddy Psychotherapy, one of the largest and most respected psychotherapy practices in Texas. Under her leadership, Deep Eddy grew from a solo private practice into a multi-site organization with over 200 clinicians serving thousands of clients annually. She scaled operations while preserving clinical excellence, developed robust systems for clinician support and training, and positioned the practice as a leader in trauma-informed, evidence-based mental healthcare.
Throughout her career, Dr. Howard has led more than 1,800 psychotherapy groups, authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and a book on love relationships, and designed national-level clinical training programs. Her leadership style is grounded in systems thinking, emotional intelligence, and a deep respect for individual and institutional transformation. She has taught at the University of Iowa, led training institutes, and served as a featured presenter for medical institutions and national conferences.
