Julie spent six years as an Assistant Attorney General with the Texas Attorney General’s Child Support Division, where she gained substantial experience handling child support and parent-child matters. She later served as an Assistant District Attorney in Medina County before entering private practice. Throughout her career, Julie has represented clients in family law and a variety of other civil and criminal matters, giving her valuable insight into both the courtroom and the broader legal issues that can affect Texas families.

Julie earned her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2005 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006. Before law school, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University and obtained her Texas teaching certification in secondary education.
