Ronald T. “Ronnie” Funari is an accomplished Texas litigator with over a decade of experience in complex family, civil, and criminal matters. His extensive litigation background and courtroom command make him a seasoned and strategic family attorney.
Over the course of his career, Ronnie has served as managing attorney and trial attorney, and owned his own firm practicing family law, criminal defense, personal injury, business and consumer litigation, real estate, and other contested civil matters.
Ronnie’s breadth of experience conducting and defending depositions, litigating pretrial proceedings, negotiating high-stakes disputes, and trying cases before Texas courts, proves especially valuable in family law, where sound representation demands both discerning judgment and decisive litigation when necessary. Ronnie is distinguished by his unwavering focus on safeguarding his clients’ interests while pursuing practical, lasting resolutions.
Ronnie earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law, along with a Master of Arts in Communication Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of the Incarnate Word. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2009 and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Beyond the practice of law, Ronnie is an avid sports enthusiast and has volunteered as a youth coach with the Catholic Youth Organization.
